I Was Happily Taking a Nap

That's me, Andrew, having a very peaceful Saturday afternoon nap. Then she came in and said hello to me and next thing I know, everything goes to hell because SOMEONE cannot stand her paying attention to anyone else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They could have left me home in peace with George and Gretel for the weekend, but nooooooooo, someone has to keep Dudley company!!!!

Not Loving the IPhone

She started the job this week and as expected, I DO NOT LIKE THIS AT ALL!!! I like having her around all day to entertain me and cater to all my needs. Just this morning, I got her to play with me for an hour or so. She was trying to work on the computer but I just jumped up on the computer and then she would have to throw one of my toys so I would get off the computer. She feels too guilty about leaving me alone for two days this week to just pick me up and remove me from the computer. Guilt is a good thing!

Last night I was sleeping on her lap and she whips out her phone and starts taking pictures of me. I am not as in love with these iphones as they are! A boy can't even take a nap in peace any more. At least before if she wanted to take a picture of me she would have to get up to get the camera and I would have time to move or change poses before she got off a shot. Now there is no warning just click and the picture is taken!

Guess who turns 6 months next week? Hint: It's not Andrew, George or Gretel. I have taken the liberty of registering myself at Petsmart & Petco. Only CATNIP toys please!!!

Not Good

Gretel here...

There are rumors floating around that
she is going back to work, as in not working from home anymore but actually leaving the house for 8 or 9 or 10 or FOREVER hours a day. This cannot be happening. We have gotten very accustomed to her here at our beck and call 24/7. George is so traumatized he is circling the food bowl saying "Oh god, oh god, oh god" over and over again. Who's going to feed us?

Sssssh, no one tell Dudley yet. He'll die - ok, so maybe someone should tell Dudley. He is so attached to her, he follows her around like some kind of d-o-g, all day, it's down right embarassing. And when she does leave the house he sits on the hall table by the door the entire time she is gone. He doesn't know what it used to be like when they both went to work all day. He has only known her to be here all the time and the adjustment will be very hard on him. Actually, things are looking up! I hope he doesn't think that this means I will be nice to him!

Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Flattery

They went to the beach for the weekend and since Dudley the Baby can't be left alone overnight, they had to bring him with them. And since Dudley the Baby can't go by himself, guess who had to go with him??????? You got it! Me, Andrew, because Dudley needs company. I knew being nice to him would eventually come back to bite me! Gretel and George got to stay home by themselves. Bleah! So I cried in the car the whole way down and again the whole way home. It didn't appear to effect them in the least. As a matter of fact towards the end of the ride home, I actually think they started to tone me out!

While we were down there, she took this picture with her new toy, the iphone.

You would think these iphones were the greatest thing since sliced bread. They never put them down and they are always trying to take pictures of us with them. We usually move too fast for them to get good pictures but sometimes they prevail.

She calls this picture her black and white bookends. What happened was, I was having a very nice nap on the table but then because he has to do EVERYTHING I do, Dudley jumped up on the table and lay down in the exact position I was in. Does he not have one individual thought of his own? Now that I look at the picture, I do have to agree that at least the cat in the back is one fine looking fellow!

And the Winner is...

We have spent the last three days arguing which of the four of us would pick the winner of the Bloggy Giveaway. So much so, she decided to take matters into her own hands and use random.com. The winner of the Elephant Catnip Toy is...

Congratulations, we hope Biscuit enjoys it as much as Dudley loves his!
