Day 32 - 6/25/08

Weight: 1 lb 7.2 oz - No new weight to report because no scale available

Feedings: Every 6 hours

Food: KMR 2nd Step mixed with KMR Formula mixed with a miniscule amount of Iams Wet Kitten Food. Too much is too much of a change and he won't eat.

Stimulation: EUREKA!!!!!!!!! This morning I put the Stud in one of the "big boy" cat boxes at the same time that George was using the other one so that he could see what he was supposed to do. As soon as George was done, Dudley not only had a bowel movement but also urinated all by himself. He then decided the thing he liked best about this was the covering up part. I have litter from one end of the hall to the other but I was so proud of him that I let him have his fun. I have been trying to get Dudley past this hurdle for a couple of weeks and now that we have it is somewhat bittersweet. He is almost a completely integrated kitten. At least he still relies on me for food and that will continue for a little while longer.

So when you are a 5 week old kitten and think your person should stop working on the computer and pay attention to you, what do you do?

You take matters into your own paws, of course!

We knew he was a Stud from the git go... no Dud there!
